The Box cammino Via Francigena Toscana is designed to simplify the organisation of the walk. It may seem easy to organise a walk, but there are so many factors to take into account. From accommodation to hydration, we have thought of everything, putting together our experience and knowledge, on one of the most beautiful stretches of the historic route, from San Miniato to Siena, through hills and vineyards for a total of about 90 km in 5 stages, suitable even for those who have never walked a camino!

Day 1
Arrival in San Miniato. Visit to the town, dinner and overnight stay.
San Miniato is a wonderful medieval town between Florence and Pisa. The Via Francigena Toscana in San Miniato passes through the historic centre of the town.
Day 2
A very beautiful but demanding stage.
From San Miniato, after an hour’s walk, you take a route of extraordinary beauty along the hilly ridges of the Val d’Elsa.
Day 3
A short stage of medium difficulty, interesting for the beauty of the views that surround the route.
The day can be dedicated to visiting San Gimignano, one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany, which, reached on foot, has an amplified value and beauty.
Day 4
One of the most beautiful stages of the Via Francigena, with the variant that shortens the route towards Siena and allows you to visit the small historic centre of Colle Val d’Elsa. Just outside the small town, you can refresh yourself with the waters of the river park and admire the waterfalls!
Day 5
It is always part of one of the most beautiful stages of the route. You pass through the splendid complex of Abbadia a Isola before reaching Monteriggioni, with its unmistakable crown of towers.
Day 6
Lasciandosi alle spalle il centro storico di Monteriggioni, si percorrono le strade bianche della montagnola senese. Si attraversa il bosco dei Renai prima di arrivare all’accesso francigeno a Siena.
Day 7
You have some time after breakfast to visit the city, the monuments and squares that have made it famous, before returning.
