Why do we talk about Amalfi and the Amalfi Coast?
Because when you think of the beauty of Campania, you mainly think of Naples, its gulf and the Amalfi Coast. Obviously there are many things to see in this region, perhaps too many. We have selected a few, including Amalfi.
The Amalfi Coast, which became a World Heritage Site in 1997, is a true natural paradise.
The conformation of the Coast makes it similar to a balcony suspended between the blue waters and the blue sky. The variety of colours that can be seen on the Coast is great, and it is a pleasure to enjoy them all year round.
The Amalfi Coast, also known as the Divine Coast, is a living land and is known to be the land of lemons, beautiful beaches and the wildest Mediterranean scrub.
There are 14 municipalities that are part of it: Amalfi, Atrani, Cetara, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Maiori, Minori, Positano, Praiano, Ravello, Scala, Tramonti, Vietri sul Mare and Agerola.
It is also famous for its boat trips, to be able to see it from the sea, and for the Sentiero degli Dei (Gods’ Path), for those who like to walk and enjoy breathtaking views, to be able to see it from above and from the mainland.
You can visit this Coast on our Tour of Campania, which you can read more about at this link: https://www.spiritualtour.it/en/campania-tour/
