Visit to Venice during the Reverì creative writing course
Walking around Venice, looking for stimuli, we let our emotions carry us away. Thanks to the wonderful and unique Venetian atmosphere, we wrote words, ideas and small stories in our notebooks. We visited the city not as mere tourists, but with a writer’s eye, gathering a network of images. St. Mark’s Square, the Rialto Bridge, Venetian alleys, the Doge’s Palace, the Biennale Gardens and the Arsenal were the inspiration during our stay.
The course leads you to experience creative, self-aware and skilled writing that enhances your spontaneity and enriches it with the precision of technique. Guided and taken by the hand by the creator of this experience, Anna Traini, who allows an atmosphere of openness and absence of judgment, charting a course, gives the necessary attention to each participant.
We stayed in an ancient Venetian palace, Casa Cardinal Piazza – Palazzo Contarini Minelli, reserved entirely for the course, to achieve an atmosphere of lightness and serenity, thanks to the indoor garden, where you could unleash your creativity.
The creative writing course allows you to write in your own way, receive personal guidance, explore texts by great authors, engage with the teacher and be in a group of people with whom you can share ideas, texts, insights and stimuli.
Explore the creation of a short story from cues received from experiences visiting the city and the Biennale. Learning how a narrative idea is born. Discovering the protagonist and animating him within a story. Choosing the best point of view and narrator to give effectiveness and beauty to the theme of your story. These are some of the practices of the Venetian days.
The course is open to everyone, no previous experience in either writing or meditation is necessary, and there is no age limit. Perfect for those who enjoy writing in natural places of beauty, in slow times, getting in touch with your imagination and sensibility.
