Pejo Fonti, village in Trentino in the Stelvio National Park
Val di Pejo is an internationally renowned health and spa resort at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale mountain range.
Dotted with fir and larch forests and patches of green pastures, Val di Pejo is located in the Trentino sector of the Stelvio National Park, dominated by the mighty spectacle of glaciers, from which clear streams flow into the valley creating magnificent waterfalls.
The Stelvio National Park is one of the largest nature reserves in Europe. Its territory is centred on the Ortles Cevedale range and extends across South Tyrol, Trentino and Lombardy; it borders the Swiss National Park to the north-west and the Adamello Park to the south. Admission is free and the National Park is accessible all day.
The park allows visitors to truly experience the spectacle of nature: from 600 m to over 3,900 m above sea level. In the little more than 530 km² of the park, depending on the altitude, a wide variety of alpine animals and plants thrive. From the lower altitudes, through meadows and forests, one ascends to solitary and peaceful landscapes, caressed by the warm rays of the sun and enlivened by the whistling of the marmots. Above the tree line, hikers will find sweeping views, peace and quiet awaiting them.
Our offer in this wonderful location includes a stay in a hotel:
